Sherlock is (closer to) coming back!

Yes, yes, we all know that Sherlock is coming back but it has been a mystery as to when. We have all been waiting a very long time. While there is still a wait, now we have a release date and a new trailer!!!

So what are you doing January 1, 2016? I personally think this will be a great way to kick off the year. But this is a date just for the free standing special. This is not the first episode of the new season. That we are still waiting on, both for a trailer and a release date.

What are your expectations for this Victorian Sherlock?

Benedict Cumberbatch, Good Enough to Eat?

chocolate_benedict_cumberbatch

UKTV polled their viewers for the dishiest drama actor. To no surprise, Benedict Cumberbatch won. And what that meant was that his likeness was carved into 40 kg’s of milk chocolate. If you are in Britain, it will be on display at Westfield Stratford City for Good Friday.

This was to celebrate the Drama channel on UKTVPlay.

Check out the making of video too!

Benedict Cumberbatch, Sophie Hunter, and a Valentine’s Day Wedding

Apparently when Benedict Cumberbatch said that he would be marrying pregnant Sophie Hunter quickly he meant it. Cumberbatch and Hunter are going to be getting married on Valentine’s Day on the Isle of Wight. There doesn’t seem to be much more known than that.

How will the fandom react? I personally wish them happiness!

Ok, really Sophie Hunter is. But either way it means that Sophie Hunter and Benedict Cumberbatch are expecting the first child. It has been officially announce by a representative of Cumberbatch so this isn’t speculation. They also are now talking about getting married sooner, as in the next few months.

So how is fandom going to respond. Freak out because this means he will be even more connected to Sophie Hunter? Or more in love with him because he will be a daddy? For this fan I am happy for them and wish them all the happiness in the world!

Mr. Cumberbatch as Mr. Darcy?

Um, yes please!

Fan girls around the world are once again grateful to Benedict Cumberbatch for his willingness to get wet for charity.

Give Up Clothes for Good is a campaign for cancer research by British retailer TK Maxx that is celebrating their 10 year anniversary. To celebrate quite a few stars showed up for some great photo shoots.

But lets be honest, Benedict Cumberbatch recreating Colin Firth’s wet shirt scene is something that will be iconic.

The only thing better is if he recreated the role itself. But that may just be my geek girl dreams…

Sherlock and Music Anyone?

I don’t know when I am not in a Sherlock or music mood but… today I was wanting both. And thought I should share;).

Sherlock Series 4 Promo

Or is it;)?

Ok, this may not be real but this is amazing! There are so many clips from so many different things. And I amazed at the sync on all of them along with the music….

So what did you think? Do you like these fan videos or does it just make you realize how much we aren’t getting from Moffat and Gatiss?

Cumberbatch and The Fifth Estate

I just caught the brand new trailer for Dreamworks new film The Fifth Estate that is coming out this fall. I am really looking forward to this coming out in the fall. Not only because it is about Wikileaks and the man behind it but because it is starring the illustrious Benedict Cumberbatch!

My initial thoughts… It looks good. It looks like we are going to get a full picture from the ground up and they aren’t jumping right to the end days. I hadn’t realized that Stanley Tucci was in it! I like that!

Ok, lets get to why many are watching this 5 minutes after it came out… Benedict Cumberbatch;). I find the Assange look very convincing but unnerving;). I find the voice a little like his Alan Rickman but backed off just a little bit. And yes, I am familiar with Benedict Cumberbatch’s Alan Rickman impersonation;). I have a feeling that I am going to be very impressed with his portrayal!

So how about you? Are you excited about The Fifth Estate?

A Little Benedict and Music

What a better way to start your week than a little Benedict Cumberbatch and music? Enjoy;).

Call Me Maybe?

The interplay between Jim Moriarty and Sherlock Holmes was made for this!!! Between all the phone clips and well… the fall;).
